Planning on bringing or renting a boat? Perfect! Launch it about a mile down the road and you will have a mooring available for your use right out front of the shared beach and dock. INTERIOR: The screened in porch is THE PLACE TO BE when you need a break from the sun. With plentiful seating and dining space, you can take it all in from here. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The primary bedroom offers a QUEEN sized bed. The second one offers a QUEEN sized bed and a bunk bed with a TWIN and DOUBLE. Both the living room and screened in front porch couches pull out into full sized beds for added accommodations. This Maine camp kitchen should have all the cooking and eating essentials your group may need during your stay. The living room has a smart TV that is available for you to login into your favorite streaming services. Make time for various board games or just relax with a puzzle or a good book when you need a break from the sun. 

EXTERIOR: With this property, you have plenty of options - kayaking, boating, swimming, sunbathing, campfires, barbecuing and more! Use the included 4 kayaks to paddle along the cove and take in what Sebago Lake has to offer. Boat around the lake and store your boat on the included mooring and use the dock to load and unload as needed. Swim and/or sunbathe at the private shared beach about 200 feet away. Hang around the fire pit roasting s’mores and making memories (firewood not included); or have some BBQ fun with your family or friends.

SPRING STAYS: Come stay at Flying Mermaid during the springtime in Maine to take in the various blooming trees and flowering landscapes. You will love seeing the trees transitioning from buds to vibrant greens. And spring time is THE PERFECT time to fish!

With this property having Sebago Lake access, a beautiful yard with enough room for your entire group and accommodating interior, we believe you will make lasting memories! There are many things to do during the summer from boating, fishing, swimming and BBQing. There is no better place to spend your next vacation!

AUTUMN STAYS: Check out Flying Mermaid during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair or enjoy a fall hike during your stay. Once you are back, make Hot Toddies and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft. 

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.  

PARKING: 2 cars, or 1 vehicle and a boat trailer.

ESSENTIALS: All bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”. There is no water filtration system, so bottled water is necessary for drinking. 

PETS: As much as we love pets, they are not allowed at this property.
