This recently updated home is a spectacular beachfront property on Sebago Lake! Relax with the family at this peaceful waterfront retreat, located at the very end of Wards Cove. The views are phenomenal and the 100ft private sandy beach is a rarity! It is located at the end of the cove, gets lots of sunlight, and is the best place to be when the sun sets! A dock and 2 moorings are available for renters along with the canoe, kayak, and SUP when weather permits.

INTERIOR: This home has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main floor offers a ton of space for your next vacation. The open living area, with views of Sebago Lake, has a wood burning fireplace that is located in the center of the house. There is a pullout sofa that pulls out into a QUEEN sized bed. Also on the main floor, there is an updated kitchen, a full bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a dining area that has panoramic views of Wards Cove! There are two bedrooms on the main floor as well. The first bedroom has a QUEEN sized bed with the second bedroom offering a FULL sized bed. On the lower level, the remaining three bedrooms and full bathroom await you. The primary bedroom has a KING sized bed with plenty of closet space and direct views of the lake. The fourth bedroom has a QUEEN sized bed; and the fifth bedroom (SET TO BE COMPLETE BY MAY 25, 2023) serves as a great hang out spot for the kiddos with a tv and table and chairs to play games, along with TWO TWIN sized day beds with TWIN sized trundles that pull out.

EXTERIOR: This extraordinary property has a large beach and 100 feet of walk-in sandy bottom beach. There is a large dock, two moorings available during your stay, and the boat launch is located right down the road. Additionally, the large deck that overlooks the water has a grill and outdoor eating space. There is one canoe, 1 kayak, 2 stand-up paddleboards, swim floats and a hammock for guests to use, as well as, Can-Jam, Corn Hole, and Ladder Ball. The firepit has adirondack chairs around it for stunning sunsets that color the sky with vibrant pinks, purples and orange hues! Trust us when we say, they are Instagram worthy! The large grassy yard is perfect for kids to run around and play or just for playing yard games with friends and family.

SPRING STAYS: Spring fishing and hiking are extremely popular pastimes near Sebago and this is the perfect place to enjoy them! Come stay at Sebago Sunset during the springtime in Maine to take in the various blooming trees and flowering landscapes. You will love seeing the trees transitioning from buds to vibrant greens. This season can be tricky in Maine weather wise, so you may be able to enjoy the deck while grilling or you may want to cozy up to the indoor fireplace or the outdoor fire pit reading an enchanted book.

SUMMER STAYS: Summer on Sebago Lake doesn’t get much better than this! With this property directly on Sebago Lake, a beautiful yard with enough room for your entire group and accommodating interior, we believe you will make lasting memories! There are many things to do during the summer from boating, fishing, swimming and BBQing. You can even take your boat a couple of coves over to Long Beach and dock it at Sportsman’s Kitchen and Keg. Grab some amazing food and a delicious drink at their tiki bar! We promise it won’t disappoint! There is no better place to spend your next vacation than at Sebago Sunset!

AUTUMN STAYS: September is such a peaceful time to visit Sebago. The water is still warm and the lake is quiet! Check out Sebago Sunset during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair, or enjoy a fall hike during your stay. Once you are back, make hot apple ciders and sip them by the fireplace or the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

WINTER VISITS: This year round home offers a fireplace to keep you warm and cozy during the bitter cold nights. Warm up after a day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the nearby trails, or take a trip to Pleasant Mountain for some skiing about 30 minutes away. You can also visit Seacoast Fun Park for some ultimate tubing just 20 minutes away! In the evening, sip hot chocolate next to the fireplace while watching the snowfall, reading a good book, or playing a board game.

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft.

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.

PARKING: 4 cars and a boat trailer.

ESSENTIALS: Bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”. There is no water filtration system, so bottled water is necessary for drinking.

PETS: We are pet friendly with a fee of $100/pet per stay. Max 2 dogs/stay.
