Point Overlook- Waterfront in the Sebago Lake Basin

The way life should be- this beautifully decorated home is a spectacular waterfront property located in the Basin of Sebago Lake! This stunning vacation rental sleeps up to 15 and has a ton to offer with its welcoming floor plan, large backyard and excellent lake views. There is plenty of space for everyone to have a vacation filled with great memories! There are so many amazing activities, inside and out, to keep your whole group having fun all day long.

INTERIOR: This gorgeous property has lots of windows to let in a ton of natural light! This home has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with AC and heating throughout. The primary bedroom has water views and includes a KING sized bed and an en suite bathroom which is equipped with a washer and dryer. There are two other bedrooms on the main floor, offering a QUEEN sized bed and the other that has two sets of bunk beds, each with FULL sized beds on bottom and TWIN sized beds atop. Additional sleep space can be found in the lower level which offers a QUEEN sized bed and another bunk bed set that has a FULL sized bed below and a TWIN sized bed atop. The beautiful open kitchen has a modern feel and has all the cooking and eating essentials your group may need during your stay. The open concept also offers both a dining area and a lovely seating area that overlooks the lake, giving it its name, Point Overlook. Off the kitchen is the living room where you will find a flat screen TV, a large sofa to accommodate a number of guests, as well as, a number of games, books and puzzles. There is a cozy office, adjacent to the living area, that overlooks the lake that has a desk, TV and even a telescope! Down in the lower level, there is a sitting area with another flat screen TV to catch the game, a dry bar/kitchenette, and a large space with a number of fun activities including foosball, ping pong, pool, chess/checkers, darts, basketball, and large wall mounted Connect 4 and Tic Tac Toe.

EXTERIOR: This extraordinary property has amazing lake views and a ton of space for various activities. Take your morning coffee while enjoying the sunrise from the benched seating at the end of the dock. Dock your boat (up to 24’ depending on water levels) on the private dock after a day out on the lake and utilize the built-in cooler to store your extras. The composite back deck that overlooks the water features outdoor dining for 6, some additional patio seating, and a propane grill. Down on the back lawn is where you will find Adirondack chairs surrounding a beautiful built in stone fire pit overlooking the lake. There are a number of lawn games to enjoy, such as, corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoes and ladder ball. On the lower patio is a cool shaded space where you can enjoy the views or relax in the hammock. Take advantage of the stand up paddle board or 3 kayaks to enjoy on the lake.

SPRING STAYS: Bring your fishing rod and cast a line right at the end of the dock! Spring fishing and hiking are extremely popular pastimes near Sebago and this is the perfect place to enjoy them! Come stay at Point Overlook during the springtime in Maine to take in the various blooming trees and flowering landscapes. You will love seeing the trees transitioning from buds to vibrant greens.

SUMMER STAYS: Summer in the Basin of Sebago Lake couldn’t get any better! With this property, a beautiful yard with enough room for your entire group and accommodating interior, we believe you will make lasting memories! There are many things to do during the summer from boating, fishing, tubing, swimming and BBQing. If you need a break from the sun, there is plenty of shaded area under the back deck with a relaxing hammock, and the house is complete with AC in every room. There is no better place to spend your next vacation than at Point Overlook!

AUTUMN STAYS: September through November is such a peaceful time to visit Sebago. The water is still warm and the lake is perfectly calm! Check out Point Overlook during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fairs, or enjoy a fall hike during your stay. Once you are back, make hot apple ciders and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

WINTER VISITS: Warm up after a day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the nearby trails, or take a trip to Pleasant Mountain for some skiing just 45 minutes away. You can also visit Seacoast Fun Park for some ultimate tubing JUST 5 minutes away! In the evening, sip hot chocolate while watching the snowfall, read a good book, or play a board game or two.

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children, 10 and under, to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft.

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.

PARKING: 5 cars and a boat trailer.

ESSENTIALS: Bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”. There is a water filtration system, so water is safe to drink.

PETS: We are pet friendly with a fee of $200/pet per stay. Max 2 dogs/stay.
