Hilltop Hideaway - A Sebago Lake Vacation Home

Located in the Snug Harbor neighborhood of Sebago Lake, this property sleeps up to 8 guests and has lake and beach access! Just a short walk, you will find the privately shared beach, which is a rarity on the lake. Have a boat? Perfect, there is a dock for it (availabile seasonally). There is plenty of space in the driveway for a couple of cars and a boat trailer. You will be sure to make lasting memories!

INTERIOR: This house has beautiful skylights and lots of windows to let in a ton of natural light! This home has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath, enough space for the whole group. The primary bedroom includes a KING sized bed. There are two other bedrooms, as well, one offers a QUEEN sized bed and the other offers two TWIN sized beds. Additional sleep space can be found in the living room as the sofa pulls out to a QUEEN. A pack and play is also available, if needed. The newly remodeled kitchen has a modern feel and should have all the cooking and eating essentials your group may need during your stay. Off the kitchen is the dining area and living room. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a Roku TV is available for you to login into your favorite streaming services. Make time for various board games or just relax with a puzzle or a good book when not down enjoying the beach.

EXTERIOR: With a large yard, you have plenty of options! Hang out around the large fire pit under the twinkling string lights in one of the many adirondack chairs or take in the large backyard under the trees while you enjoy exploring the trickling streams located on either side of the property. Enjoy the two provided kayaks and 2 SUPs and cruise around the lake! When you are ready to get out on the water, the property has a private dock located in a quiet canal off of the big bay. Rent or launch your boat less than a mile down the road and dock it just a 2 minute walk from the back yard. You also have access to the big private sandy beach that is a +/- 8 minute walk away!

*Dock is available late spring to early fall.

**The best time for the dock is from May through mid July as water levels get low in the canal afterwards so docking a boat may not be an option.**

SPRING STAYS: Come stay at Hilltop Hideaway during the springtime in Maine! If fishing is your favorite pastime, then you have come to the right place! Of course springtime is also the best time to take in the various blooming trees and flowering landscapes. You will love seeing the trees transitioning from buds to vibrant greens. This season can be tricky in Maine weather wise, so you may be able to enjoy the deck while grilling or you may want to cozy up to the fireplace reading a good book. 

SUMMER STAYS: Sebago Lake in the summer is where you want to be! With this property having Sebago Lake access, a beautiful yard with enough room for your entire group and accommodating interior, we believe you will make lasting memories! There are many things to do during the summer from boating, fishing, swimming and BBQing. There is no better place to spend your next vacation!

AUTUMN STAYS: Check out Hilltop Hideaway during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair, or enjoy a fall hike during your stay. Once you are back, make Hot Toddies and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

WINTER VISITS: Hilltop Hideaway is a year round home which offers a wood burning fireplace to keep you warm and cozy during the bitter cold. Warm up after a day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the nearby trails, or take a trip to Pleasant Mountain for some skiing about 30 minutes away. You can also visit Seacoast Fun Park for some ultimate tubing just 20 minutes away! In the evening, sip hot chocolate next to the roaring fire while watching the snowfall, reading a good book or playing a board game. 

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft. 

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.  

PARKING: 4 cars and a boat trailer

ESSENTIALS: All bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”. There is no water filtration system, so bottled water is necessary for drinking. 

PETS: We are pet friendly with a fee of $200/pet per stay. 2 dog max.
