Enchanted Loon Cottage- Waterfront on Long Lake

This multi level WATERFRONT home is a wonderful Long Lake property that sleeps up to 11 guests! With its included dock and kayaks, this gorgeous vacation rental offers 27 ft of private waterfront. Here, you will find, both inside and out, plenty of space for everyone to have the vacation of a lifetime! There are so many amazing activities to keep the whole family having fun all day long.

INTERIOR: This property has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, enough space for your whole group! The upper floor is where you will find most of the bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a QUEEN sized bed. The second bedroom has another QUEEN sized bed. The third bedroom has a TWIN sized bed. There is a full bathroom on the upper floor, as well. On the lower level there is a fourth bedroom which has two TWIN beds that can stay separated or pushed together as a KING. Back up on the first floor is the large open kitchen that should have all the cooking and eating essentials your group may need during your stay. Off the kitchen is the dining area and living space. Past the living space, you will find another family room with a pullout sofa, a TV with streaming services and a gas fireplace. There is a full bathroom with a washer and dryer if needed as well. On the lower level, in addition to the fourth bedroom, you will find the third family room which has an additional pullout sofa and TV with streaming services. There is a large ping-pong table within the garage on the lower level for added entertainment! Make time for various board games or just relax with a puzzle or a good book when you need a break from the beach.

EXTERIOR: Take advantage of the screened in porch that has views of the lake after you fire up the grill for a family BBQ. Bring the two included kayaks to the lake and spend your day down by the water which is close to 30 ft of access! This area you will also have access to the private dock and you can launch your boat just 6 miles away! The area by the beach is grassy and ready to be enjoyed by the waterfront all day long. End the day, back at the house, around the crowd-pleasing, fire pit making s’mores!

SPRING STAYS: Long Lake boasts amazing fishing, so bring those fishing rods! Come stay at Enchanted Loon Cottage during the springtime in Maine to take in the various blooming trees and flowering landscapes. You will love seeing the trees transitioning from buds to vibrant greens. This season can be tricky in Maine weather wise, so you may be able to enjoy the screened in deck while grilling and playing cards or you may want to cozy up to the outdoor fire pit reading an enchanted book.

SUMMER STAYS: In addition to all of the amenities above, this rental is just a 10 minute drive or short boat ride down to the Famous Naples Causeway, which makes this place PERFECT for your next vacation! Long Lake has some great boating and there are many things to do during the summer from kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming and BBQing.

AUTUMN STAYS: Check out Enchanted Loon Cottage during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair, or enjoy a fall hike during your stay at one of the nearby mountains or local trails. Once you are back, make hot apple ciders and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

WINTER VISITS: Warm up after a day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the nearby trails, or take a trip to Pleasant Mountain for some skiing about 20 minutes away. You can also visit Seacoast Fun Park for some ultimate tubing just 30 minutes away! In the evening, sip hot chocolate next to the gas fireplace while watching the snowfall, reading a good book or playing a board game.

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft.

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.

PARKING: 6 cars or 4-5 cars and a boat trailer.

ESSENTIALS: Bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”.  There is a water filtration system, so water is safe for drinking. This property has a backup generator due to power outages as a result of a storm.

PETS: As much as we love pets, they are not allowed at this property.
