Located in the Bayou at the mouth of the Songo River, this family camp is conveniently just minutes down the road from Sebago Lake State Park! Launch the included canoe just a short walk away, down to the shared launch area and take a trip out to the famous Sandbar on Sebago Lake! While there is no dock or mooring, you can still bring your boat! There is plenty of space in the driveway to bring your own boat and launch it daily while storing it at the house when not in use. 

INTERIOR: This welcoming home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, enough space for the whole family. The primary bedroom includes a QUEEN sized bed. There are two other bedrooms, as well, one offers a TWIN sized bed and the other offers a FULL sized bed and a BUNK BED with a FULL on the bottom and a TWIN on the top. Additional sleep space can be found in the living room as the sofa pulls out to a FULL, as well. A pack and play is also available, if needed. The kitchen has a few new appliances and the cooking and eating essentials your group may need during your stay. Off the kitchen is the dining area and living room. Roku is included for the TV.  There is also a sitting room with a card table for a space for various board games or just relaxing with a puzzle or a good book.

EXTERIOR: With a large yard, you have plenty of options! Lounge in the hammock, hang out around the fire pit, or take in Maine’s beauty while enjoying the large deck with a shaded awning option. Additionally, the play set is perfect for the kiddos to enjoy while you play a game of cornhole! When you are ready to get out on the water, take your boat or the included canoe right down the road (.1 miles/ 2 minute walk), and launch it into the bayou which conveniently comes out at the Mouth of the Songo River at the State Park Sandbar. If you are interested in visiting Sebago Lake State Park during your stay, you are in luck! It is just a short drive down the road and there you will find a large sandy beach with amenities. 

SUMMER STAYS: Maine in the summertime is where you want to be! With Sebago Lake close by, a beautiful yard with enough room for your entire group and accommodating interior, we believe you will make lasting memories! There are many things to do during the summer from boating, fishing, swimming and BBQing. There is no better place to spend your next vacation!

AUTUMN STAYS: Check out Camp Dragonfly during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair or enjoy a fall hike during your stay. Once you are back, make Hot Toddies and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft. Four unisex lifejackets for the two person canoe are provided at this rental. 

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.  

PARKING: 4 cars and a boat trailer

ESSENTIALS: All bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”. There is a whole house water filtration system, so bottled water is not necessary unless preferred. 

PETS: As much as we love pets, we do not allow any at this property.
