Relax beachside in this 5 bed/3.5 beachfront home, with bonus in-law apartment, that sleeps a total of 10! Nestled off of a quiet dirt road, our rental is a vacationer's dream. We have a sandy beach, a dock, outdoor space, kayaks, floats, and most everything else you can think of. Stocked with all the amenities that your family needs to enjoy a stress-free stay!
INTERIOR: Relaxing on Raymond Pond couldn't get any better than this! This newly renovated property features a spacious main house with an open concept and modern feel and sleeps 6. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and the primary bedroom features a KING sized bed, fantastic views, a spacious walk-in closet, and a private full bathroom. The second bedroom features another KING sized bed and the third bedroom has a set of TWIN sized bunk beds. There is another full bathroom shared between the two bedrooms and a half bath located on the main floor, along with a washer and dryer for your use. Above the temperature controlled garage is additional sleeping space for 4 more guests. This 2 bed/1 bath in-law apartment features a separate living and work space and a convenient kitchenette. The first bedroom has a QUEEN sized bed and the second has another set of TWIN sized bunkbeds.
EXTERIOR: Outside you will find a raised patio, the perfect spot to relax in the Adirondack chairs enjoying your coffee, listening to the birds' chirp, or taking in the stunning sunsets. From the patio, step onto the grassy yard where you can play yard games, cook some lunch on the gas grill, or let the kids run free. Just beyond the grass is where you find what every guest longs for- the beautiful sandy beach! Jump off the 40 ft dock, take a swim out to the floating dock or paddle away in the 2 kayaks, dealers choice. Six life vests in various sizes, beach towels, and water floats are provided as well. Around the firepit is the perfect place to cozy up at the end of a long fun-filled day. Guests are responsible for their own firewood.
*Dock is available late spring to early fall. Boats can be launched right from the side yard and there are plenty of places nearby to rent as well.
**The island across the way is a bird sanctuary so please don’t go onto the island.
SPRING STAYS: Come stay on Raymond Pond in the springtime to take in the various blooming trees and flowering landscapes. You will love seeing the trees transitioning from buds to vibrant greens. Bring your fishing poles for some of the best fishing of the year. This season can be tricky in Maine weather wise, so you may be able to enjoy the deck while grilling or you may want to cozy up to the outdoor fire pit, reading an enchanted book. Spring fishing right off the dock is always a great activity as well!
SUMMER STAYS: This sandy beach waterfront property is THE place to be in the summer! With stunning views from the beautiful backyard with enough room for the entire group and accommodating interior, we believe you will make lasting memories! There are many things to do during the summer from kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming and BBQing. There is no better place to spend your next vacation!
AUTUMN STAYS: Autumn in Maine is an experience in itself. Take in the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair, or enjoy a fall hike on the nearby trails. Once you are back, make hot apple ciders and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.
HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft. **The island across the way is a bird sanctuary so please don’t go onto the island.
A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.
PARKING: 4 cars and 1 boat trailer.
ESSENTIALS: Bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”.The well water is tested annually and safe to drink during your stay.
PETS: As much as we love pets, they are not allowed at this property.
